Summary
"But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness".
1 John 1:9
Edward Teach knows sin and guilt. He's got success and fame, a life that most would envy professionally, but his personal life is another matter entirely. He's shit at relationships, shit at finding happiness, in general, Ed's always been a bit shit. He knows he's floating through life, and eventually floats back into the same city he went to college. The same city he once crushed a sweet guy all for the sake of winning a bet.
And meets Father Stede Bonnet, a man who seems to see into his guilt-laden soul and offers to wash his sins clean.

Summary
Stede Bonnet has spent most of his adult life taking heavy suppressants that have allowed him to pass as a beta with no one the wiser. His father had made it clear that no son of his would present to the world as an omega. And it was fine, really it was. He was used to being a disappointment to his father. And the side effects weren't that terrible. He resigned himself to living his life keeping parts of who he was tucked away and so drugged that no one knew it existed. And then he met Ed.
Edward Teach ends up being assigned to a long-term work trip with a handsome beta that he can't help but check out. He finds himself forming an easy friendship that feels like it could become more the longer they spend together. When a blizzard traps them in a small cabin in Montana he secretly rejoices at more time with Stede and a chance to explore their budding friendship.
Things do not go as planned.

Summary
Laurent is a nerd with serious isolation issues, completely obsessed with getting into university. His brother Auguste left him behind in the city when he was just 13, and as a result, he has basically zero social skills. Damen is everything Laurent hates: popular, effortlessly confident, surrounded by friends like Nikandros who laugh at his terrible jokes, and girls (and guys) who practically swoon at a single glance from him. To Laurent, Damen is a walking symbol of everything that's wrong with the teenage world; to Damen, Laurent is a blond iceberg capable of freezing him solid with one look.
They hate each other, deeply, mutually, from day one.
But one day they’re forced to work together on a semester-long project, and what begins as pure hostility slowly reveals something else: in every universe, in every possible version of this mess of a life, it was inevitable that they would end up feeling… whatever the hell this is.
