‘You have suspicions?’ Leon says, frown deepening. He hasn’t heard anything of any dangers heading for the White House, but he’s been out of the country. He would have thought Hunnigan would keep him abreast of anything, though, especially considering Ashley’s still at home there. She’s had a time of it, from what he’s been hearing, but she’s powering through.
‘Not of any bioweapons, no, unless you count the state of the men’s bathroom on the third floor. I think it could be classed as nuclear waste at this point, but they can’t find the leak. No, I – it’s the Egg Roll today, and I know it’s not exactly your paygrade, but I want you on site for support.’
‘I don’t think anybody would stoop low enough to use children as a BoWs at Easter. Even evil has standards.’
Benford snorts. ‘I don’t expect to see a BoW on the lawn, but I fully expect Ashley to have a panic attack.’[Ashleon, Easter 2005]
