Summary
Rae moves to Beacon Hills due to her dad getting a call from an old friend that he hasn't heard from for years; Rae has to live with the fact that she left her life behind to start anew; it doesn't bother her since she didn't have the best life there.
So this is a bit different from my usual way of writing; I'm slowing but surely plotting this story out. I thought I'd post this first chapter as a small-in-to-know thing about Rae and some other stuff.

Thundercracker thought he had it rough already, what's with being a war orphan and having to raise two kid brothers on his own while juggling with various tasks as a Decepticon soldier. Well, he's just a Cadet, and not quite of age for even that, but he's still a Decepticon, like his Creators were!
Starscream and Skywarp, little terrors that they are, aren't always making life easy for him, but Thundercracker is determinated to protect and take care of them, no matter what. It's not like any member of their extended family tried to get custody or help them, after all, so he's quite aware they are on their own.
The roughness, sadly, seems to only have started when their supply ship finally run out of luck, and straight into Autobots' path...

While he stopped short of acting like a misbehaving foal and just biting her, Sombra was a pegasus. He had no real interest in staying on unfamiliar ground any longer than she did. His ears swiveled uneasily toward the forest. He shifted his feet and ruffled his black wings, resettling the feathers even as wind mussed them again.
“I hope Robin appreciates the absurd lengths I go to,” Aversa muttered under her breath as she patted Sombra again, “for a blasted birthday gift.”
