Will he rise to face the tide of darkness? Will he prove the blood of Witchers still runs strong? Carry the fire to slay nightmares? Or will he fall... And with him., the last light of the old world?

Summary
Very quickly, this war between body and mind, logic and fear, reality and illusion, it became his daily life. Wake up to that aching pit in his stomach, fight against the delicious scents wafting from the kitchen, go about his training and daily duties, find an excuse to skip lunch, retire early so as not to be tempted by dinner, rinse and repeat. Sometimes his weakness would show through. Sometimes he'd cave. If he did, that unsettling disgust would eat him alive all through the night.

Summary
Jaskier asks Geralt to runaway with him to the coast. To live a life by the sea! Which at this time Geralt had never seen before so he accepts the offer. But he must pick up his child of surprise on the way there for the dangers that lie up a head for Cintra. He needs to keep the child safe and protected.
There is a bit of a change to a few scenes, relationships and characters. But that’s what makes a fanfic interesting!

Spring - Jaskier stumbles into an inn during a storm. What incredible luck it is the one Eskel decided to stay in.
Summer - A witcher and a bard attend a wedding.
Autumn - Geralt has always had trouble remembering to make enough White Honey for his travels. Luckily, Jaskier remembers for him.

This is a prequel to Mating Call, but you do not need to read that to read this.
Note about rape/non-con tag: Eskel often uses tricks to fool monsters into fucking him and lots of times intends to kill them afterward.
