“I’m not,” Wit snapped. He sounded almost… insulted. “I’m not going to mock this. I just—”
“I believe he would like to volunteer,” a smooth, cheerful voice said.
Both men turned.
Wit’s entire face crumpled like someone had just shoved him off a cliff. “Design!” he hissed, eyes wide. “You’ve done it again! Spoiled my entire monologue!”
