Lee, Harry, and Hermione whooped with mirth at Fred’s grasp of muggle culture. Fred took in stride, laughing along with them. “James. Bond James,” he intoned, signalling for a server who was walking by. “Martinis!” He declared. “Martinis all around. Shaken, not stirred.”
“Gin, not vodka.” Hermione added more quietly. And then, feeling a little cheeky and just a touch curious, she flicked her eyes at Fred as she said, “And I’d like mine wet. And dirty.”
Hermione is working on legislation to better protect house elves from abuse. Together with her friend Fred Weasley, she learns about house elves. Working closely together also helps the pair examine the ways their friendship has evolved, and begin to think about how it might evolve further.

Ingo and Emmet have never been human, though they pull it off rather well during the day. At night though they let themselves be their true selves. They are pretty good at hiding it from the rest of the world, only ever looking slightly off. That changes though when they encounter Volo, who for unknown reasons has turned into a monster himself. The two take him in, out of free he will break their masquerade, at least until he gets the hang of his new body.
