It had been around a year since Zanka had first taken up Jabber’s offer of an off duty fight, and following then it had become somewhat of a regular occurrence. In fact, it wouldn't have been crazy to call the two friends– kinda. But one night, Jabber decided to throw a wrench in their little routine in the strangest way possible, by bringing Zanka some random baby he had found abandoned in a polluted zone. Why had he done this? Because he was high at the time and thought it would be hilarious to see the look on the cleaner's face. Yet in the morning when he sobered up, Jabber still wanted to keep it. And for whatever reason, Zanka did too.
“Doesn’t the kid totally look like she could be our daughter! See, she’s even got your weird striped eyebrows.” If Zanka had the energy he would punch him.
Or: Two idiots impulsively adopt a baby and now have to figure out how to simultaneously raise the kid, keep her a secret, and deal with their growing feelings for each other.

Zanka has been meeting up with Jabber, a dangerous Raider who's almost killed him several times, at an abandoned house outside a tiny and remote town for months now. Meanwhile, he tries to keep his sneaking out and complicated relationship with Jabber a secret from his team and from the Cleaners. As it begins to take more and more of a toll on him, Zanka has to reconsider what it is he actually wants.

Kuro’s prices are too high, and with Arkha Corvus being in and out of their reach, the need for another information broker becomes their new priority. And to everyone’s surprise, Fu may know someone.

Summary
Zanka has been sneaking out to meet with Jabber for sparing matches for some time now. At first, he thought it would only be for practical reasons only - to get stronger (and additonally have the satisfaction of punching Jabber's face 'till it turned purple from bruises). Yet as time passes, his and Jabber's relationship starts turning into a complicated web of feelings and soon enough, both boys realize living without the other sounds like a horrible nightmare.
Or: A story about how two boys grew to be so obsessed with one another that each breath taken without the other next to them seemed to physically hurt them (that's not healthy in the slightest).

The challenge is simple: Anyone who can get the tassel off the cat's neck will be granted the hand of its witch, Zanka Nijiku.
Jabber has no interest in marrying some stuck-up witch, no matter how pretty he may be. What he does want, though, is access to a certain witch's garden, and the poisons within. And if the only way in was getting that snooty cat on his side, he could make nice long enough for that. He'd always been a cat person anyway. How hard could it be?
