Summary
Castiel’s heart stumbles before he can stop it, before he can think about how pathetic that is. To think that every interaction the Swans have proceeds them, that everyone is just waiting to get a glimpse of one of them to fuel their gossip circles for the next three days. Even the invisible shy flutter in his stomach at the thought of the Swans (not the Swans, just one of them, just one single man, but is that any better?) makes Castiel feel like he’s participating in the blatant objectification that he’s uncomfortable just witnessing.
The Swans are only people. This is something that Castiel holds onto. Just people who happen to have a generational curse in their bloodline. And when he interacts with Sam Winchester or Eileen Leahy at his stall, it’s easy. He says hello, they say hello back.
The Swans are just people. And yet, Dean Winchester remains unfathomable.

Summary
Snapback - or whatever - says George hit his head “really freaking hard, dude,” against the pavement rollerblading. Not that he himself can remember the event, or anything really. Well, he knows he really likes twinkies, but that doesn't count because he just discovered that when Dream (fitting nickname) blasted into his hospital room carrying an entire English corner shop in his giant arms.
The first thing George does is to check his photos, where he finds a rather… incriminating picture. Second thing he does is to touch his throat because he feels like he can’t breathe - and feels a cold delicate metal chain resting there. He saw - no he knows - that on Dream’s defined Adam's apple - lay a very similar one.
Right now he is sure of only three things;
One: He likes twinkies.
Two: Backpack will argue with him on anything and lose every time.
And three: Dream is his husband.
Naturally.

Dream taps on the picture of George from the Streamer Awards, only to realize that it is, in fact, not a picture. It is a short clip from a red carpet interview, where George is chewing gum and wearing a suit, has the biggest and most endearing fucking smile on his face, and has clearly gotten his hair cut in a way that makes Dream unable to look away from his phone.
The video loops, and then again, and then suddenly it’s five minutes later, and Dream is still standing in the middle of his stream room, stomach still rumbling, unable to look away from his phone. He’s blushing, his cheeks an embarrassing shade of pink, and suddenly he wants very much to kiss George right on the mouth. With tongue.
Oh fuck.
or: the two times where Dream and George realized that they felt something for the other, and the one time they finally decided to do something about it.

“Yeah,” he says, a little breathlessly. “Okay.”
Or, Dream may or may not have a crush on the barista at his campus coffee shop. When they start spending more time together, his feelings get harder and harder and harder to ignore, until it all comes to a head just after Christmas break.

Sapnap cannot say a word. He stares, eyes wide.
The things that Karl listed are not things that the general public knows. These are small details that only his closest friends know. These are secrets that Sapnap never ever voiced – he never told Dream or George about Punz. He never ever explained that his grief for Punz is so strong because he was like a brother to him.
It's terrifying.
Karl looks at him, so earnest, his lips trembling. There’s wetness in his voice when he finishes. “And you love me,” he whispers. “You told me you loved me.”
It’s terrifying. It’s abnormal, it’s worrisome, it’s alarming.
And the scariest part is that Sapnap believes him.OR: the Dream Team are superheroes; Karl is a random guy who walks in and declares that he knows Sapnap.

Summary

And so begins an arrangement: George goes over to his flat, he's fucked within an inch of his life, spends the night, and then goes along his merry way come morning. There aren't any strings attached, and it's glorious.
As the weeks come and go, though, George begins to realize that he's starting to feel a little more than lust when it comes to his thoughts about Dream. He knows better, he really does, and he knows there's no way in hell the other feels the same, but since when does anyone really have control over their heart?
