Dream and his friends walk through, and then I see him.
A bush of chocolate hair, an old green polo with shredded jeans, a freckled face, and a gleeful smile. He leans aside an old wood house, a cluster of people besides. For a moment, I'm in rickety swings of L'Sandberg swaying and telling horrible jokes. And then I'm back, everyone had moved. Toby 'Tubbo' Smith, my best friend ever, is staring at me.My feet move before I can think, carrying me with speed I could've used on mile day. Faster, faster, until skidding to a halt directly in front of him. I watch a myriad of expressions cross Tubbo's visage. Shock, confusion, happiness.

But he’s 25, his teenage romance movie phase is over, he's in the real world now, where it felt like marrying someone is the only happy ending you can get, and–coincidentally– he meets Dream again, a guy he has an embarrassing history with that he should say sorry for, and agreed to help him practice writing.

A tale of coincidence and bonding, in which a protective Wilbur adopts Tommy as his younger brother after defending him from harm.
