Summary
It’s the night before Jaskier’s birthday when he gets drunk and mentions it in front of Geralt and Yennefer. He doesn’t mean to, of course, but, you know, he’s four cups in, feeling a bit sorry for himself, and he doesn’t even realize they’re there. He’s trying to wax poetic to the bartender, which is what one does when they feel this way, and possibly chat up the lovely blonde woman next to him. She makes a comment about helping him celebrate when both she and the bartender make themselves scarce.

It's another year of helpless pining and Jaskier just wants to forget about it all and enjoy his birthday. But, of course, that's not going to happen.

Geralt stumbles upon the old, abandoned altar right beside the cliff’s edge. He’s just killed a basilisk and destroyed its eggs and nest when his medallion starts humming, heats up, alerting him to magic swirling in the air. He’s on guard, always, and, with steel sword drawn, he creeps closer.

Geralt picks up a magic item. He spends an inordinate amount of time time panicking because nice things start happening to him.
Of course, he realizes not everything is about him. But it all works out in the end.

Summary
Geralt’s watching that baking program when he hears shouting from Jaskier’s apartment. He crinkles his brow and glances at the clock on the wall. 8:15. Jaskier keeps unusual hours and it’s not like Geralt’s judging, but at this time, Jaskier’s either already out of the building or asleep. Or at least, that’s what he suspects. Nevertheless, there is never any sound coming out of that apartment regardless of whether Jaskier’s there or not.

Jaskier has car trouble. Geralt drives him to work. Ciri makes an appearance. Conversations are had. Feelings are kind of discussed.

After that, it seemed to become a pattern like taking in a stray animal.

“Hey, um.” And Colt pauses, because what the hell is he doing. He’s asked plenty of people out, but hardly ever this fast, and almost never when they technically work together. But, well. Crews change between movies. If it goes south, he can keep his head down until filming wraps and, hopefully, never see Driver again.
If it goes south. Which he hopes it doesn’t. God, he really hopes it doesn’t. “Wanna grab drinks later?”
Driver’s gaze flicks over him. A full up-and-down, but it’s hard to tell if he’s checking Colt out or sizing him up like one would an opponent. He reaches out, just to brush a bit of hair out of Colt’s face, and smiles again. “Sure.”
Colt punches the air. “Yes! Yessssss!” Then he catches himself, meets Driver’s — amused, maybe slightly fond — gaze and says, quieter, “I mean, uh. Cool. Awesome. After shooting, then?”

“Yeah.” His tone is breathy, eyes half-lidded as they stare at Grace. “And you came down to me. For me.”
Court sounds mystified at the last part, almost reverent in the way he speaks, looking up at Grace like he's something to be beheld. He leans back in, and Grace yelps, slapping a hand over the Alpha’s mouth. Court looks up at Grace balefully, and for no reason at all, the image of a sad, wet cat appears in Grace’s mind. He lets his hand slide down to rest on the Alpha’s collarbone.
“What—what about Will—the Omega?
“What about him?” Court presses forward, boxing Grace in against the tree, brows knit close together as he stared down at the Beta. His tone is fervent and angry as he speaks. “He's nothing. I could—I would treat you better. I’d give you anything.”
