Yuri would reject that type of confession. Unless, of course, it came from Otabek because it’s Otabek. In fact, it would solve a hell of a lot of his problems if he got something like that from Otabek.
“B-Because!” he splutters helplessly. Mila, unimpressed, makes flapping chicken-wing motions at him. Yuri is going to rip her hair off with his teeth.

Jon snaps his jaw shut and then the window. He watches the way Damian’s socked feet pad along the carpeted floor, boots carried in one hand. There are so many things he knows about Damian–which hand he favors, the feel of his blade against Jon’s skin, the way his brow furrows ever so slightly in annoyance when Jon thwarts one of his plans–but he’s learning now that there are so many things he doesn’t know about Damian too. How he takes his shoes off in his apartment, how he organizes his books. He treats each piece of knowledge like a crumb of food and he’s starving and he wonders how many Damian will let him gather in his hands.
In which Justice Lords Jon escapes into another universe following the death of Superman. He finds that in this universe Damian and Jon aren’t just on good terms, they’re partners, in every sense of the word. He wonders what that means for him and his Damian.

Summary
Wanting to confess to Kenma, and even the aftermath wasn’t the problem. The scariest part was getting up the courage to say those words in the first place. That part, he couldn’t do anything about. There was nothing tangible that would make him feel ready. Which was why Tetsurou supposed he’d turned to the intangible with the quizzes and articles listing off ways to read the person you were crushing on. Logically, he knew it was ridiculous. But somehow, it made him feel like he was making progress, and he needed that reassurance.
