Ray choked on his last bite of dinner despite Billy deliberately timing his question.
“I don’t know,” Ray answered when he finally stopped coughing. “It’s too soon to tell, isn’t it?”
Billy noted Ray’s wary look while he internally hyped himself up to say the next part. He’d been thinking about it since that first night after, after they’d moved Ray’s bed back into the sleeping area. Staring at Ray’s back across the divide between their beds, remembering the weight of Ray’s hand on his hip, the warmth of him pressing down between Billy’s legs, Ray’s voice vibrating against his neck, it was all he could think about.

Summary
