Summary
Will Byers is familiar with the short end of the stick. It’s what sent him on a cross-country hitch-hike from California to New York City with 500 dollars that he scratched together, a backpack with nothing but what’s important, bruises on his face, and an address that hosts the brother he’s had no contact with for nearly four years.
The short end of the stick is what has him desperate to start over and forget. Forget about the abuse, the seizures, and the burden of his childhood. It’s what guides him to one Nancy Wheeler, who lands him a job in a field he never considered an option: corporate.
But as Will starts from scratch, he realizes how much his past really weighs on him, especially after he catches the eye of Mike Wheeler.
Will Byers is not used to love, kindness, or wealth. But maybe he can be. He just needs to take it one step at a time.

After escaping an abusive relationship, Will lands a job at a major publishing company to start over in New York. Mike happens to be the guy who’s inheriting it.

Summary
I recently found a few really old pieces of fanfiction in my google docs and decided it'd be fun to post them as a way to archive them for whoever's left in the fandom. Be warned, the chances of me continuing the story are slim. That being said, enjoy what has been written. The original description is below.
Tubbo's life has been unsatisfactory for as long as he's been in that tower; as long as he can remember. However, one poor escape attempt later, he finds himself in a completely new world that has problems larger than he could ever imagine. And, unbeknownst to him, this world may know him better than he thinks. But hey, at least he's not alone anymore.

Summary
Cici and Artemis aren’t quite sure what happened; one second they were walking to school, and the next they were being housed by a kind stranger in a universe with superpowers, villains, and heroes. As things develop and the girls make discoveries along the way, the certainty of being able to find a way home dies and adapting to their new way of life becomes priority. In between diverging from canon and their previous reality, they’ll need to find their place in the world and among a cast of colorful characters that are all too familiar.

Summary
Being away at college is easier than Will expected in some ways, and harder in all the others. As old wounds from the past resurface and familiar routines fall into place, Mike becomes the person he keeps turning to without meaning to.

He repots soil with Lucas. He skips out on an AV Club event to join Dustin with cat-sitting. And he tries to fend off Mike's growing curiosity about his surprise.
Armed with nothing but his piggy bank made from a recycled glass of jam, Will is determined to make his brother feel loved on his birthday.
