Summary
A small oversight in Light’s plan to outsmart L leads everybody on the Task force, including his own father, to believe he’s gay.
Strangely enough, this misunderstanding has somehow cleared all of L’s suspicions of him being Kira. A win is a win, I suppose.
Of course, Light isn’t actually gay. He’s just pretending, so L will stop investigating him. Or at least…thats what he tells himself.

Summary
Itachi's Mangekyo Sharingan allowed him to warp time and reality. It was a difficult decision for him to put his beloved younger brother under the extreme genjutsu, but Itachi always did what needed to be done. No matter the consequence. His Tsukuyomi was supposed to end after Sasuke witnessed the eradication of the Uchiha Clan.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) Itachi made a mistake. Afterall, this ability was new to him. He first used his Mangekyo to help Izumi slip into the pure lands. In the blink of an eye she experienced a fulfilling life with Itachi by her side and the blessing to grow old and pass away peacefully. So when he used this technique on Sasuke, mere moments later, he accidently allowed the same thing to happen to him.
Sasuke wakes up thirty years later in his seven year old body and has to make sense of the archaic world around him.

Kakashi was tired.
A couple times he still second guessed himself. Wondered if it would be better to fail the team and let whatever happens to them happen.
But every time he saw the photo of his old team, he remembered why he couldn’t.
He couldn’t let that happen to them. This system had already screwed them over. The people who were supposed to care for them had done the opposite.
Kakashi wasn’t going to be another adult who let these kids down.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen. And maybe I’ll only make things worse…” Kakashi murmured softly to the framed photo at his bedside. “…But I have to try.”
He had too. Or these pups were as good as dead.
OR: Kakashi realizes how bullshit it is that Team Seven was even a team in the first place, and does things differently. Screw Hiruzen for putting him in this position.
