20 years ago, he gained sentience.
That was the only fact he could even remember now. The face or name of his maker? Blank. His home? Empty. His purpose? Unclear. Why is he alone, under nobody’s will but his own? Unknown. There was one other, smaller detail he could remember. A name. Was it his? Was it his master’s? A friend’s? All too many questions he’d long since given up on finding the answers for. Besides, why try to figure out his old purpose when he had one right now?

- In which the sophisticated, highly particular Nostrade member Kurapika, somehow, accidentally fires off a text to the wrong number. Likewise, Leorio decides it’s a great idea to respond and hold a conversation with a stranger he’s kinda afraid of, and an even greater one to try to charm them. Walls are slowly torn down and for once, Kurapika allows himself to feel the warmth on the other side.
