Summary
After all, Regulus had spent his last years feeling like a fucking leftover, the kind of thing no one really wanted but kept around because no one had the nerve to throw it away. So when Sirius got himself expelled yet again, dragging Regulus along for the fallout, he had no expectations. John Laird’s College was the only place willing to take Sirius despite his sinister file.
Or: Two brothers with a traumatic childhood and exactly zero emotional tools try to reconnect. Regulus accidentally makes friends, joins the football team, and ends up sharing a hotel room with James Potter, which goes about as fruity as you’d expect.

Summary
He was always able to do that. To envision melodies from a few words on a page. If he tried especially hard, he could almost taste it; folk songs were earthy, musky even, disco was sickly, almost like hard-boiled sweets. But nothing tasted as good as rock ’n’ roll— it was sharp, lemony, though not enough to make Remus’ lips purse. It was more like an explosion of the senses, a pinnacle of ecstasy that thrilled every inch of his body and made the hairs stand up on his arms. Electrifying.

After being prosecuted for aggravated assault, 16 year old Remus Lupin is given the choice of two sentences: attending a youth detention centre, or enrolling into a school program for “troubled cases”.
Hawthorne Academy prides itself on shaping these students into potential scholars. However, Remus’ path divulges from academics upon meeting his misfit classmates — particularly, their obsession with a tarnished guitar abandoned on the school grounds.
