They had all been at school together, when Sirius had seen four Beatles-documentaries in one night, and decided that they had to start a band. Remus had simply rolled his eyes, as was his usual reaction when either Sirius or James presented them with an idea. He had known how to play a couple songs on the bass by then, but he in no way felt like he had anything to contribute to a band. James, on the other hand, had jumped up at the idea and exclaimed “That’s your best idea yet!”. Once Sirius and James got hung up on anything, Remus knew there was no way out. Besides, he couldn't help but feel a sliver of excitement deep down at the idea of playing in a band with his best friends.
The Marauders are going on their first tour, and everything changes as a result.
