Simon didn’t expect his savior to be exactly his type.
What a welcome sight. Even if this stupidly handsome man ends up being evil, or working for the C.O.I, at least he’d die looking at something good.
or
Grace and Rocky find Simon's ship floating in deep space on their way to Erid.

Zoro’s running as fast as he can, but he’s hampered by the snow all around him. Yasuie had warned him before he’d left Ebisu Town that the Ringo district of Wano was famous for its storms and frigid temperatures, but the man’s descriptions had failed to do the actual environment justice.

It's been twenty-one days, three hours and thirty-six minutes since Rimmer became the owner of a pair of matching engagement rings. Since then he's been biding his time waiting for the perfect moment to ask Lister the question he so desperately wants to ask.
The path to that perfect moment, as it transpires, is anything but easy.

"How do they do it in 'Androids'?" He asks. "How do the characters propose to one another in that?"
...
"Well, sir. There's usually dramatic music and dynamic lighting, followed by an hour-long wedding special, then a series-long story-arc that usually culminates in divorce..." The mechanoid tapers off as he watches Rimmer's face turn ashen. "So, uh, probably not the most realistic of examples to pull from." He finishes, awkwardly.

Demons can't cry, is the accepted wisdom. They don't have it in their nature. But as in many other ways, Crowley was an exception. He wipes at his eyes with the blade of his hand, annoyed this talent would show itself at the worst possible time.
"I tried to slow down for you," he says. "I tried to stop."
"Oh, Crowley." Aziraphale's hands reach for him, makers of bread and cakes and all the things he feeds to Crowley. Gentle on his face, careful at the corners of his eyes. "I never wanted you to stop."

I love you.
The words bloomed soundlessly through Asa’s mind. They looked over at Anthony lying rumpled beside them, ginger hair mussed against the pillows and freckles standing out across flushed skin.
Anthony, who talked to his snake.
Anthony, who bought duplicate physics books simply for an excuse to linger in bookshops.
Anthony, who had unfolded hidden pieces of himself into Asa’s waiting hands with trembling trust and let himself be loved there.

“…Anthony?”
“Hm? Er.” He blinks back to himself. “Most people call me by my surname, actually. Just Crowley.”
“Oh, by all means. Crowley, then. Dear, are you alright? You look like you drifted off in thought for a moment. Have I lost you already?”
Crowley has already decided he likes listening to Asa speak. He’s been listening to him for a while now. Two glasses of wine have disappeared already, one for each of them.
And Crowley has the strangest feeling.Bookmarked by polymona

You know what it’s like,” he says slowly, “hearing an old song playing somewhere in the distance?”
...
“From the next room over,” Crowley continues. “Or through an open window. You can’t quite make out the lyrics, but it seems familiar somehow. You recognize the tune. Or you’re fairly certain you do.”
...
“And maybe you hum a bar or two,” Crowley says. “Enough that you think if you concentrated hard enough, you might remember the rest. The actual words.” He gives a small, self-conscious laugh. “Then something small distracts you and suddenly it’s gone again before you can place it.”Crowley looks back up at Asa.
“That’s what I was thinking about,” he admits. “That’s what you feel like to me.”

Do you think this is a dream?” Crowley asks, staring down at their joined hands.
Aziraphale considers it. “I think perhaps it’s a wish.”
The recent thought still rings in his head: I wish to stay with you always, my love, no matter where existence has taken us or will ever take us. I wish to always remember just how lucky I am.
“Ah, right,” says Crowley. “The shooting star. Well, shooting meteorite debris.”
“You astrophysicists are at times very unromantic, Professor Crowley.”
“Is that so? I’ve not had any complaints from you before, Mr. Fell.”

Summary
Asa found the book when he was retiring. Bleak House, Dickens, a lovely old edition, tucked into a corner next to Asa’s desk. How curious, it must have been here even before Derek sold the shop to him fifteen years ago. He picked it up, admiring the lovely cloth-bound cover and faded gilt lettering. Why wasn’t this out with the stock – had he taken it in to price and forgotten about it?
Asa couldn’t look up from the pages. All blank, so very curious, because the paper seemed as genuinely old as the book. Maybe much older, somehow, than it ought to be. Except, someone had written on the first page.

Bookmarker's Notes
“Last page. Different handwriting.”
“’It was a nice day…’” Asa read aloud. “Why does that sound familiar?”
...
“Really, Crowley, you’re just as well-read as-“ Asa stopped. Anthony had sat up and was staring at him. “Crowley, I…”“You haven’t called me that in quite some time,” Anthony said, slowly.
Asa dropped the book. It hit the ground with a thunk, sounding much heavier than it should have. Almost like it was the repository for a black hole, a tiny miracle; a miracle which should be infinitesimal unless it were amplified by both Heaven and Hell, and amplified further with the power of a dying and reborn universe; what else would be enough to power that many coincidences? Congratulations; you’ve found the lady. What have you won?-“

--His clothing was expensive and stylish;
--He wore very strange but noticeable cologne;
--His relationship to the seat he occupied could only, very loosely, be described as “sitting;”
--He looked angry;
--He was wearing sunglasses. What Aubrey Thyme, a professional, thought, upon first seeing her new client was: you’re going to be a fun one, aren’t you?

Summary
“And you drove the whole rest of the way there like that?” Aziraphale asked.
“Yep.”
“And you didn’t discorporate.”
“Obviously.”
He could practically hear the angel’s brain working as it put the pieces together. “Oh, my dear,” he breathed after a moment, and Crowley felt a second hand covering his own. “You must be exhausted.”
In the wake of an averted apocalypse, an angel grieves, and a demon is drained. With their punishments looming over them, Crowley and Aziraphale attempt to tie up some loose ends.

Bookmarker's Notes
“It’s really gone,” he said in a small voice that bordered on disbelief.
Crowley nearly raised a hand to wipe away the tears, but thought better of it. “I’m sorry.”
“All of it,” Aziraphale said. “Gone.”
Crowley frowned, finding himself at a loss. “We — we’ll figure it out,” he tried lamely. “You — I-I’ll get you a new booksho— ”
It was then that Aziraphale covered his eyes with his free hand and wept in earnest, and Crowley realized he had said exactly the wrong thing. “Oh,” Aziraphale managed between sobs. “Oh, Crowley.”
