Summary
Bucky felt like he was simply drifting through the motions that most people call "living" - really he was barely making a decent attempt at living through civilian life after returning home from the war. The drifting stops when he accidentally comes across a letter his grandfather left him years ago, still unopened and addressed to him.
Now, he finds himself moving to his grandfather's old farm with whatever he owns and no knowledge of farming under his belt, surrounded by people who seem to have a vested interest in the success of the farm and his wellbeing. Oh, and the rather friendly butcher with the half-blind dog mentioned something about a Wizard's Tower.
Bucky starts to suspect he's bitten off more than he could chew, but that remains to be seen.
