Han wyciąga drżącą dłoń by delikatnie pogładzić policzek syna. Widzi tę stratę w jego oczach i boli go to bardziej niż narządy poharatane mieczem świetlnym. Tym ostatnim gestem, w który wkłada wszystkie swoje siły chce pokazać, że mu wybacza i jest to zarazem najpiękniejsza i najbardziej tragiczna rzecz, jaką zrobił dla niego w całym swoim życiu. Być może wie, że właśnie złamał obietnicę złożoną Lei przed odejściem, lecz nie żałuje, bo nic nie jest w stanie wygrać z miłością rodzica do dziecka i jeśli świat jest zbudowany tak jak jest, a ludzie są istotami śmiertelnymi, to taki koniec jest najpiękniejszym końcem, jaki mógł go spotkać. Han Solo, rebeliant, przemytnik, zabójca, niezastąpiony strzelec i wyśmienity pilot nie umiera jako żaden z nich. On kończy swoje życie jako rodzic patrząc w oczy syna, jednej z nielicznych osób, które w swoim burzliwym życiu naprawdę kochał. [...]

Summary
Walka na Mustafar dobiegła końca. Anakin stał się Darthem Vaderem i dumnie, lecz w bólu stanął u boku nowego mistrza - Dartha Sidiousa. Jedi zginęli w bezlitosnym rozkazie 66. Obi-Wan stracił wszystko. Zostały mu tylko poczucie winy i nienawiść do samego siebie. Mistrz Yoda obawia się najgorszego - że Kenobi po ostatnich wydarzeniach nie będzie w stanie dalej kroczyć ściężką Jedi i ulegnie Ciemnej Stronie Mocy. Wyznacza mu trening, polegający na zmierzeniu się twarzą w twarz ze sowimi słabościami. Wysyła do niego duchy trzech najważniejszych osób w jego życiu. Czy Obi-Wan poradzi sobie z tą konfrontacją?
