Runa stares at her, completely deadpan. Annette says nothing else, and makes no move to take the cup. Runa considers pouring it down the drain, or downing it herself. In the end, under Annette’s big and soft green eyes, she relents.
“Annette. Your frappe is done.”
“Thank you,” She says, walking closer to the counter. Her fingers graze Runa’s when she grabs the cup, and she leans forward over her. When she smiles, Runa can see not only that she is definitely taller than her, but also, she gets a close up view of her sharp canines. Her neck aches. “That wasn’t so hard, was it?”
Annette is Runa's tutor. Runa is totally normal about this, obviously.
