Sora is born into a world where your heart has wings.
He wakes in a white chamber with no memory of how he got there, before emerging into a strangely familiar, sun-lit town and beginning a long search for a way home.
But a year is a long time to be asleep, and the landscape of the worlds has changed. Sora has little time to rest when he needs to find out what brought about this new threat – and what happened to his Flight. And then there’s his wings.
A pair of wings stretched from his back, a soft brown, slimmer than the wings he previously had, less fluffy.
“But, didn’t your wings used to be white?” Goofy wondered.
Sora grimaced – they were his, but also, they weren’t his – but nodded, “Yeah….”
“Oh, my,” the red fairy said, “That wasn’t supposed to happen. Do you feel alright, dear?”
“Y-yeah,” Sora assured, dragging up a smile, “It’s okay. Something like this has happened – “
Sora cut off with a gasp. The wings vanished in a flash of light, the bubble of pressure popping in his chest.
“Happened before,” Sora panted.They are born into a world where your heart has wings.

Tommy shot up as shouts began. Yells of outrage and sadness reached his ears as he ran towards the source. The aching of his legs did nothing to slow him down as he sprinted down the path. The planks in front of him suddenly cut off as he arrived at the community house. Techno skidded to a stop behind him.
Before them lay the crumbled remains of what used to be the community house, now nothing but debris and fragments of the walls. Cracks ran through the path creeping far down it. Bricks and shards of wood polluted the water, spilling at their feet.Tommy stepped back in disbelief.
Shouting sounded from in the walls, absolute chaos as they crowded around the wreck. Yells about who had done it, and what the price would be. But above all the confusion Dream's cold voice stood.

Summing up the plot here makes no sense, it is the same one in the game. Here I present additional scenes or variations of the ones we saw (Early Access), in a humble attempt to display how Gale’s romance could be developed in a more nerdy and less cheesy [yet romantic] way. There is an emphasis on the art of conversation, I must warn you.
[Fill based fic focused on Gale and Chardry, canon compliant with slight variations, but not repeating scenes of the game unless they have been changed and tackled in different ways. Nobody wants to read the exact same scene they saw in-game. It says "slow burn" but it is as slow as the tadpole allows it, though. Which is not so slow for my taste, indeed. This fic follows Forgotten Realms lore and Baldur’s Gate 3 (EA) lore. So, it’s Larian, Gods protect us from future inconsistencies.]

Despite the hardships of Double Life, the players have returned for another game, which has been dubbed Triple Life. No one's health is linked, but everyone is assigned one of three roles: Alpha, beta, or omega. These roles come with slight physical changes, new and sometimes surprising instincts, and the urge to form teams of three consisting of one of each role. Everyone must learn to navigate the changes brought by these roles, finding their teams and just trying to survive, all while dealing with an exceptionally cold map and whatever feelings may remain after their previous games together. One thing is for sure. It's going to be an interesting game.

Technoblade had always been a figure of mysterious origin. The self-proclaimed Blood God had seemingly come out of thin air, quickly making a name for himself and gaining fear and respect from every server he'd joined. Over the years, he'd taken down countless tyrannies and razed hundreds of corrupt kingdoms, but no one truly knew where he came from. Only Philza, the Angel of Death, had that answer, though it was something the old man joked that he'd take to his grave.
Thus, the mystery of Technoblade's origin sat, unknown. If anyone actually pressed the question further though (no one did), they'd find that his backstory had never really been a secret. It was just embarrassing and complicated, so he avoided talking about it if he could.
(After all, Terrance Smith, the college student from Minnesota, was kind of a lame origin for the infamous Blood God…)
