Summary
In a world where alpha births have been declining and omegas live in collectives, Steve lives together with four other omegas - Tony, Peter, Loki and Quill. They have finally decided to buy ownership of an alpha from the government-run alpha pound, one that will service them through their heats and protect them. This is where all alphas are brought up, as they are seen as too aggressive to be raised amongst normal citizens. Now Steve has to decide which one to buy - that's when he catches a glimpse of a certain metal-armed alpha through the bars of his cell.

“This is a bad idea. Tonys gonna kill you,” Peter whispered to himself. He was long past trying to mentally set himself straight; maybe it was time to start talking out loud and hope no one with enhanced hearing was nearby.
It was a bad idea, and yet he found himself opening the cellar door anyway, fingers curling around the cool neck of a bottle of whisky, a shaking hand pulling it closer to his chest. He closed the cellar quietly behind him, guilt dropping like a weight in his stomach, making him feel nauseous. He really doesn’t want to have to add throwing up on his long list of ways the world has wronged him today.
Or, Tony finds Peter drunk. They talk it out and Tony realizes that there's more going on in Peter's mind than he had thought.
