Summary

On the hunt to secure a gallery show by any means necessary, Steve finds himself caught up in schemes beyond his control. The mob has threatened his mother and Miss Romanova has set him up with an anonymous pen pal of all things. Steve cannot afford to be distracted. But when the ever-irritating James Buchanan Barnes works his way into Steve's life and just won't leave? He can't help himself.

I couldn't stop thinking about that look. The look Bucky gives Brock before his mind is wiped. What if... the Winter Soldier gave him a reason to change? What if... Brock Rumlow tried to be the good guy? I also wrote this out of anger for the Endgame ending. 'Till the end of the line my ass, Steve.
Brock and his team start working with a new weapon; Winter. But when they realise how Winter is treated, they slowly accept him as one of them and find ways to help him. Until that fateful day on the bridge. And it all goes to shit. Brock needs to make a choice, but does he have it in him to be the good guy?
This fic is mostly Marvel movies and TFATWS compliant. Please read the tags, i've put chapter-specific warnings as end-notes. The fic is ~40k and I'll post weekly, pinky promise.

Then Bucky makes a new friend, new student and fellow dork Kamala Khan.
Kamala is putting together a band, which is certainly a lot cooler than anything Bucky has ever done and he gets swept along for the ride, gaining new friends and a newfound confidence on the way.
Which is just when Steve Rogers seems to notice him, and Bucky wonders if the moon isn't so far out of reach after all.
