Wow, this was fantastic. The author captured both of them fantastically, and seamlessly added their relationship to canon adding a layer of interest and heartbreak to their interactions, especially surrounding the end of s1. Beautifully written, all the other characters were well done and added, and I’m glad I found this when i looked for it during my aot rewatch.

Summary
When Dad got sick, Dean helped make ends meet by shaking his chaps-framed ass at Birds of Paradise, Lawrence’s most discreet club. After Dad passed, Dean threw himself into work and into taking care of Sam, burning the candle at both ends to keep himself occupied and to try to get ahead of his debt.
After saving the mysterious, wealthy, and reserved Castiel Novak from a fire at the club, Dean is offered a deal: one night a week at Cas’ penthouse in exchange for Dean’s regular income while the club is being rebuilt.

Summary

Wow I really enjoyed this! Appreciated that Endverse Cas and Dean had a loving and easy relationship when a bunch of angst could have been used. I’m glad we instead got to see them live a domestic life in a cabin. And then all the reveals by coming to og universe were fun!

This was so fricken good omg.
That first chapter hooked me so fast. Cas struggling with what he had done, Dean and how he acted. It was so well written. Their easy friendship into love. I only wish this was longer and I could hear more of their story in the aftermath but I thoroughly enjoyed this.

This was fantastic in all the best, weird and messy ways!
Fantastic writing and characterisation - the codependency between the brothers, and both of their struggles - with Sam wanting normalcy and Deans messed up relationship with his role reflect canon amazingly.It definitely took a turn I didn’t expect at the end there but I still enjoyed it all the same!

Wow holy shit. This was phenomenal
This authors writing is always top notch, but the world building and characterisation in here is insane.
The world building from magic systems, magical creatures and royal customs were all interesting and easy to understand, but added so much layers and even foreshadowing. I like the fact that the angels are simply magic creatures and not biblical. I love the world building around the last unwed kiss.
The culture differences that led to confusion and obliviousness was so goood. Cas having no idea what he’s doing, that he’s flirting, even how to smile. And Dean is smitten and in love lol. Their relationship development was well done, natural and well balanced, considering one was lying a little, and I appreciate there wasn’t drawn out angst surrounding that. Just the perfect amount and then they talk, and are in the road to forgiveness.
I really enjoyed Sam’s character, and felt John and Mary were well done and characterised (meaning I hated John but he was well written lol). It was so sweet when Sam practised with his new power and put up a brave face, but the minute he was alone with Dean he allowed his weekness and worries to shine through and let his brother care for him. Their relationship was so well written.
I enjoyed all the side characters
Everything about this fic was just fantastic
Also crazy how so many words are dedicated only to a few days passing.
