He was 6 when he got his friend back. And 7 when he realized there were only adults in his life that made him feel safe. He also 7 when he got person to call dad.
He was 12 when he died. And 12 when he found out that apparently the gods, and luck hadn't entirely abandoned him.
It was also when he was 12 that his rose tinted image of heroes shattered. His dreams crushed mercilessly as he left on a rooftop.
He was 15 when he entered UA. And he was 15 when he took the Hero Industry by storm.

It kinda feels like how he felt after the sports festival. Maybe that’s why he’s home. Maybe he got hurt again and needed another surgery. Izuku sighs, relaxing his eyes even as they fight to open.
A bright light burns red against his eyelids suddenly.
“Well. You are awake.”
Every nerve in Izuku’s body freezes. That isn’t his mom.
