One of my all-time favorite fanfiction series, irrespective of fandom. I love time travel stories, I love looking at how characters grow and change, I love realizing the narrator is not telling you so many different things, I love hiding easter eggs in the titles and tags (regardless that I'm terrible at noticing them while I'm reading), I love Legend, I love learning about more obscure games and their lore. Legato is amazing. I am so glad that even though this series is "finished", there's the possibility of more words in this universe ^^

A collection of all the stories in Traveling Thieves, which is my Dark Fantasy, Hybrid Slavery, super angsty AU that spawned from my Whumptober 2023 prompt fills! Currently in semi-chronological order except for the first fic in the series, which will always be “I see the danger, it’s written there in your eyes” which if anyone does want to read the series in chronological order, I’d like them to start there! ^-^ I also occasionally place some stories in specific locations that I think work best for the reading order that aren't exactly where they'd be timeline-wise!

“You are very far from home, aren’t you, Kleines Häschen?” he mused, honeyed words drawn out slowly as you relaxed into his palm. “Come, let me tend to your wound. Rest by my fire, just for a little while.”
The man scooped you up from the snow, unresisting. Sleep whispered sweet temptation as you were cradled to his chest, lulled by the blood loss and his steady steps. You gave in to the beckoning darkness, and allowed your heavy lids to close, like he said—
