Hiya! Welcome to this little series :) Maybe you're here from Twitter, where it started. Maybe you just found this work while rummaging through the archive. This is a very wholesome collection of doodles, consider them vignettes into a pregnancy.

The series started on Twitter when someone suggested I doodle Ed and Stede finding out they were having a baby. I've been doing these doodle prompt fills since March this year where I ask for suggestions and quote tweet them with my drawings. Things just kind of snowballed from that first pregnancy prompt. Me and the pirate crew kept 'yes and'ing each other until I put out a call for baby-specific requests and that became this series.

Once it became clear that these were no longer isolated doodles but there was a story emerging, the plan was always to upload it as a collection to AO3. However, due to tagging issues that came up, I've taken the original tweets down. I've also made some new drawings that weren't in the Twitter series, so there's also something fresh for people who have been following along from the beginning!

Pretty much everything up until bringing the baby home is sketched out/inked. I would love to at least do a little bit of the newborn phase. I'll let you know where to leave suggestions for that when the time comes. I retroactively added this prologue to this story. Later this week I will finally post the delivery chapter. Everything in between has already been posted, ready for you to gobble up eyeball style.
