    Hajime chokes as the last drops of coffee slide uncomfortably down his throat. Kazuichi’s tone is far too normal for what he just said and it makes Hajime uneasy. Something tells him his friend isn’t joking.

    “Kazuichi, what?” Hajime cocks an eyebrow and stares right at the pink haired boy to confirm that, no, he had not been joking.

    In which college student Hajime Hinata can't fathom how he'll pay rent, and Nagito Komaeda thinks the only way to make a friend is to pay one.

    Hajime believes there are truly very few things in life that can surprise him anymore. As usual, Komaeda is one of them.

    Or: Nagito locks himself in a cage, and Hajime finds out he has some deep, forgotten kinks. He is as determined to try and ignore them as he is to help Komaeda. With an internally screaming Hajime and a pining Nagito, shenanigans ensue.

    (This is a longer, slow burn canon-compliant post dr3 piece, with a generally fluffy, comforting take on komahina & the cast living on the island. There's pining, a lot of pining. Plot happens. A lot of things happen, actually. Oh, and bdsm. That too :) )

    this took me like 2 weeks to complete but i cherished EVERYTHING. this is THE komahina fic

    the writing, the feelings, the way the author portrayed them all beautiful 🥹🥹

    and totally unrelated but i even rewatched dr3 just because of this, literally the most beautiful piece of literature ive ever read

    im being serious when i say read this becahe it will genuinely change your life and im not even over exaggerating like this is so amazing and well-written, i dont read much fluff but this was so heart warming and sweet. the way komahina was portrayed in this fic literally *chefs kiss* i wouldn’t want it any other way, this fic holds a special place in my heart.
