Much worse than that. It wouldn’t end!
Well, it would end, but then it would start again. It was the same day, over and over. Repeated so many times. She would have gone insane by now, if not for the support of her recent friend, Luz. The energetic human was the only one who seemed to believe her, and want to help.
If only Amity could get the days to go forward again. -

Summary
After the defeat of Gabriel Agreste and the disappearance of the mysterious peacock miraculous user, Marinette is left to try her best as Guardian and pick up the pieces. With the kwamis left in hibernation, no leads on the missing peacock miraculous, and no way to contact her beloved partner, she's left to her wit's end on where to proceed.
That is, until the prime suspect of the peacock wielder coincidentally takes up an apprenticeship at her parents' bakery. Adrien Agreste, son of Hawkmoth, has seemingly planted his roots in her home while Marinette was away for an apprenticeship. This could either be a disaster in the making, or the perfect opportunity to retrieve the missing miraculous... either way, it's war.
At least, it would be, if the gosh darn villain weren't so sweet!

Max was no stranger to nightmares.
They didn’t come every night, but a few days a week, he would be forced into consciousness with his breaths coming in fast and heavy, sweat beading on his forehead with little else going through his brain other than the sound of shouting, of bottles breaking, of slammed doors.
If he caught his eyes drooping, he’d lug himself back to bed. If they never did, well, it’s not like his dark circles would be noticed, in school or… otherwise.
Unfortunately, in the all-too-familiar hellscape of Camp Campbell, where the asshole self-assigned to looking after you mutters tree names under his breath in sleep and has his ringtone set to ‘Accidentally in Love’ from the Shrek 2 soundtrack, this lack of attention is, well, lacking.

“Hey, hey,” Luz said softly, “it’s okay Amity. Are you having trouble talking right now? Sometimes I have trouble talking too,” she explained. “It’s okay to not talk. Here–do you wanna borrow the paper I use for glyphs?”
Amity, still shaking, uncurled herself enough to grab the pen and paper. She couldn’t look at Luz, not directly–she looked at Luz’s arms, at her chest, examined her multi-colored leggings and sleeves, looked for stray hairs on her head, anywhere but her eyes.
Luz tried to prompt Amity to use the pen and paper she’d handed off. “You can just write down what you need to say, okay? I can wait as long as you need.”
Amity placed the paper in front of her, then. No one had ever given her the chance to communicate without having to talk before. She played with the pen for a moment, trying to think of what to “say,” anything at all. And then, a quick scribble later, she had a note to pass off to the girl in front of her.

Summary
Just a bunch of Luz Noceda angst. Luz is my comfort character and I guess in this series you can say I’m projecting onto her. I understand that these stories can be triggering to some since Amity Blight’s angst stories triggers me which is the main reason why I made this series (cuz I don’t see much Luz angst). So, if these stories trigger you, please stop reading.
