Everyone loves the farmer. It’s starting to drive Sebastian a little a mad. Why does everyone care about a stupid farmer? Even his best friends are acting funny, his MOM pays the farmer compliments when he’s not even around!
It’s ridiculous, maybe he’s a stalker. Sebastian knows he’s running around town, buttering everyone up, everyone except him.
It’s fine, it’s better that way. Sebastian is content without ever meeting that creep. Maybe creep is too harsh, No- no it’s not. Anyone who figures out everyone’s favorite gift and talks to them every single day is a creep! Even if he has beautiful eyes, long flowing hair, strong arms— no. He’s a stalker creep who Sebastian does not like!

“Okayokayokay, So… what if.. like.. what if I was to…” Sam couldn’t find the words now that all the attention was on him, scanning around the room to avoid eye contact. It’s just too much. Being pinned under Sebastian’s gaze still has the same mind-bending effect on him.
“It’s okay…” Sebastian drops his hand off his arm to scoop his hand up in his grasp, thumb rubbing into the skin reassuringly, “…Just say it.”
Sam makes a pathetic noise that sounds close to a whimper, and his words jumble together in a string, “Whatdidyoumeanbylivecollabs?”

Age has a funny way of catching up with you. Not only in the aches and pains that weren’t there a couple years before, or the fine lines that begin to show on your face. It hits most on a random Tuesday afternoon. 1:21pm to be exact; Sebastian happened to glance at his clock before heading out the front door.
Not an unusual time for a smoke break, anytime was good. Plus, he’s ahead on several projects, or was, until he was slammed with such unsettling reality it made him sick and shut himself in the dark for an entire day.

Summary
Over the past decade of his friendship with Sam, Sebastian discovered a confusing phenomenon. Most of the time he saw Sam as his lifelong best friend; a person he'd known since before he could remember, nothing more. But every now and again something would happen - the light would hit Sam's face just right, or he'd fall over laughing at one of his own jokes, or bite his lip in concentration while zeroing in on a video game. Something would occur, something small and mundane, but that something would have a powerful effect. It would force Sebastian to wonder what it would be like to kiss him.
The phenomenon wasn't a crush. It was an unwanted parasite, growing stronger and hungrier with time.
And there it was, rearing its ugly head again, as Sam lost himself in the music.

Sebastian shifted in his sleep, this time moving closer. Too close. He seemed to roll right into him, his head against Sam’s back. Sam stopped breathing again, skin prickling on edge, heart pounding with fear and excitement. He told himself to calm down, that Seb was just tossing and turning and he’d probably move away again soon.
But then Sebastian moved and it wasn't turning back around, rather it was moving even closer, his hips meeting Sam’s ass.
“I can’t help it anymore,” Sebastian whispered, sounding so torn, almost pained.
Sam and Sebastian's friendship is the most important thing in the world to them. For years they've skated this line, neither willing to ruin what they have in case the other doesn't feel the same.
That is, until Sebastian finally cracks.
