Grian wishes he’d had someone to hold his hand when he’d gone through his first Seeing, but it was over in the past now. Arceus, though he thought he’d heard the boy say the name Tom, slips his eyes shut in an attempt to focus.
The void hisses until Grian knows the boy has opened his Eyes when the one on his wing now displays a pupil, and the eyes in his head glitter with swirls of red. “There he is. Welcome to the Watchers, fledgling. There’s just one more thing for you to do, but I, unfortunately, can’t do it with you.”
