Ok, so have you ever seen Inkheart? Yes? Good, that magic system, but different and also crossed with Dream SMP. This is a crossover between a version of The DSMP roleplay and an Actor/Writer Au.
Wilbur was minding his damn business and did not deserve this level of karmic fuckery. He had just got coffee, he was waiting to meet with his little brother to talk over said coffee and go shopping, and he hadn’t had a single strange intrusive thought that day…so of course, it figures that his day had to be ruined by a giant ass portal opening in the alleyway behind him and pulling him backwards through it. Why wouldn’t his day go this way? In his shock, he missed the crucial moment when one is grabbed where the attacker has to find their grip and footing. Of fucking course. --- Just then he heard slow clapping up to his left and all his fight came back in a wave. The fucking NERVE of these assholes to kidnap him THREATEN him, and then PATRONIZE him! What a fuckin- His thoughts stopped mid comment as he looked up, only to come face to face with…himself? …What? Or, he supposed, more accurately..his character…What the HELL did those workers put in his coffee?? -

What he didn't tell Tommy is that maybe they weren't just stories.
After Phil's tragic death Tommy found out more about his seemingly dull world than he ever intended to - all thanks to a strange man dressed like royalty with a really stupid name.Or: I got bored so wrote a DSMP/Skulduggery Pleasant crossover that no one asked for.

Tubbo was wary of the man in front of him. Sam had given him enough lessons of Stranger Danger, and he was not afraid to stand up for himself if given a chance. Even so, he kept staring at either the ground or the table.
“Eight.”
“Wait really?”, they ask, seemingly surprised.
“Yeah. Mr Wilbur says I’m small because I don’t eat enough.”
“Mr- Wilbur?”, They ask, cracking a smile. “I’m his friend actually.”
Now, this is something Tubbo didn’t expect.
(Yeah, Techno doesn’t know if he likes the kid or not, but he ain’t doin’ too shabby with his first impression.)
“Mhm. My name’s Technoblade.”, Techno replies.
“Really?!”, he whisper-shouts, lifting his head up so fast he almost gives himself whiplash.
So THIS is what he’s up against?
…This is his COMPETITION?!
…HA! He’s an anti-social WRECK!

Orpheus waits in the wings, as if one supervillain wasn’t enough to back Tommy into a corner.
Tommy stifles a nervous twitch of his own wings. Techno will come for him, he will. Tommy just has to hold off two of the fucking Syndicate leaders by himself. No big deal.
Gritting his teeth, Tommy sets his feet and brings his fists up in front of him. He can fucking do this.

Hero work was hectic, and sometimes overwhelming- Bad knew that better than anyone (okay, he was being dramatic. He'd only been one for a few years- but his point still stands!) He and his friends had always stuck together, through thick and thin- they were practically family!
Maybe it was time to switch loyalties in order to maintain it.Or: Tubbo's life is shit, Bad is a little (read: very) overwhelmed, Ant's trying to hold it all together to protect his family, and Hannah's just trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. Maybe they'll figure out what's important along the way.
