Summary
If it wasn't for that damned orb, Gale might consider Wyll as something more than a friend. But it wasn't fair to risk getting attached when he was cursed in this way. Wyll deserved someone who didn't have the potential to explode.

Summary
An AU fantasy anti-fascism fic with a cast of hundreds, running from DR 1492-DR 1494.
This will be dark, painful and vicious because fascists do fascist things (hence the Dead Dove), but I promise that there is eventually a happy ending.

Summary
It was the word that caught Gale’s journalistic curiosity first. Fallow.
In the strictest sense of things, it was a farming technique. Mostly lost to the ever-spinning cogs of their modern world, it was biblical in its simplicity. Farmer’s fields lay barren as autumn turned to spring and then summer, so that beneath them the earth would churn with new life. It was the soil’s breath between seasons.
He came to know it later slipped from a silver tongue, a bitten lip, a soft whisper. Let your lands rest and lie fallow, the so-called messiah would say with a hand upon his thigh.
Astarion was the story of a lifetime.

Summary
Astarion drinks the wrong potion and inadvertently turns into a weak and helpless bat. Shadowheart loves animals, and the bat loves her, so that's fine. Then he turns back and starts throwing a tantrum about it, which would also be fine -- except that Shadowheart is not fine.

Summary
Gale returns to Waterdeep with Tav and Astarion to find a cure for vampirism. If Gale were to become Mystra’s Chosen again, he could cure Astarion himself. What they should definitely not do – according to Gale – is consult his old classmate, Evelyn, a necromancer who casts with the Shadow Weave. Unfortunately for Gale, Tav and Astarion are determined to seek her out.
Evelyn, meanwhile, has never explored the full extent of her magic. Embracing the Shadow Weave cost her dearly, and she fears there will be more to pay. Nevertheless she’ll do her best to help Astarion, even if it means working with Gale, for whom her feelings are… complicated.
***If you like two people who are clearly down bad for each other, but have to work through their hang-ups first, this is for you! Despite angsty moments, this is a light-hearted tale of romance and adventure.***

Summary
"Come with me to Avernus," Wyll says, easy, like he’s asking Astarion around for tea. Right. The Blade of Frontiers is the Blade of Avernus now. Sworn to cleanse the Hells of the devils that threaten the Sword Coast or some such rot. What an absurd idea. For a moment, Astarion imagines several ways to kill him painfully. Go there. To the place of her worst nightmares. The place she refused to return to despite his pleading. After everything that's happened, to step foot in that place, without her. It felt like a mockery of his pain to even suggest it.
The sun rises after the fall of the Absolute and Astarion burns first. Overcome with grief from the death of the first person he truly cared for, and haunted by her memory, Astarion accompanies the Blade of Avernus to Hell.
