Summary
Jayce knows Viktor. He knows him. After hundreds of hours spent together in the lab, late-night experiments and scribbling equations until the grey morning light filters gently through the windows, Jayce knows Viktor like an extension of himself. He also knows, though, that Viktor is the most complicated man he has ever met. He is a puzzle, an enigma, a tangle of equations with endless variables. He knows there are parts of Viktor he will not let Jayce see, and Jayce respects that, but it worries him, how little he knows about Viktor’s past, about his childhood. Makes him question, sometimes, whether he really knows Viktor at all.

A peal of laughter sounded somewhere behind Sirius, a little further down the beach. It was hoarse, but warm and rumbling. The kind of sound that settles in your chest. Sirius picked himself up gingerly and grinned, starting towards the source of the laughter. The boy was bony, all elbows, lanky legs folded up beneath him. His ash-burnt hair was always just slightly too long, tousled and falling in waves over his eyes in the blustery wind. His head was ducked against the chill. He was also glowing.

Remus shuffled in his beat-up Vans, moving around to the other side of the statue as a cluster of silver-hair American retirees bustled past him in a flurry of museum brochures. From this angle, his eyes fell on the soft curve where a creamy lower back met the swell of the second most perfect back-side Remus had seen that day.
The land of boys with absolute perfect arses.
OR
Remus and Hope take a lovely summer holiday to Italy and Remus finds a light he'd thought had long gone out, shining bright as a star through the piazza.
