Summary
...he was half-dressed, bruised, and every breath nearly turned his stomach inside out. There was blood on more than his hands. It was uncomfortably warm, contrasting with the cold sweat that racked his body and dripped from his hair. The strangled body below him blurred as he tried to lift his hands off of a cold, purple neck when the door clicked. Zanka's eyes darted towards it in fear, but he couldn't lift his neck up, only barely meeting their eyes.
It was Jabber.
Zanka gets assaulted and murders his attacker. Jabber walks in on the after scene and helps him cover it up.

“Enjin, stop this! I’m not —” Zanka cuts himself off, eyes going wide as his consciousness finishes taking in the situation. There, with a drunk Enjin nuzzling into the back of his neck, groping his chest, and lying on top of him, Zanka realizes this might be his only chance to get what he wants.
Enjin probably won’t remember doing this, anyway.
Or, a wasted Enjin mistakes Zanka for one of his many partners, and Zanka doesn't correct him.

Zanka's family had gotten him a paid-internship. The boring, tedious, monotonous work that made the money didn't interest him in the slightest, but he didn't have the courage to break away, fearing the harsh, disappointed looks he'd face. He'll get through the year, work hard as a part-time student and prove that he can do more.
When he first steps in, he's met with countless things he never would've expected.

Enjin lets out a breath, and lights up a cigarette now that he’s actively not dying. He lets go of the smoke peacefully, before almost flipping the car off the road from how hard he jerks.

Hearing Zanka liked men was about as surprising as finding trash in No Man’s Land. The second part however, Enjin didn’t see coming. Temperament aside, he couldn’t imagine Zanka having trouble finding guys his age if he felt like it.
The first thing Enjin thought to ask was, “How old we talkin’? Like, ninety?”
