Summary
Bruce tensed. It was small, imperceptible enough that most wouldn’t pick it up. Dick saw it coming a mile away. “You’re supposed to be taking down a smuggling ring in Tricorner.”
“Yeah, that’s exactly where you want me, isn’t it?” Jason's voice was calm, deceptively slow. Then it flipped on a dime, transforming into a cracking scream. “‘Cause if I was there, I wouldn’t have to see you put my brother in the fucking Pit!”
Pit. The Pit. The Lazarus Pit, noxious and intoxicating and everything Dick had spent years trying to forget, even as Jason showed up on his doorstep, unprompted, near tears, needing someone, anyone, to listen to his butchered, incomplete descriptions on what it was like to live drowning.
It melts you, he’d said once, wrapped in a blanket Dick didn’t remember owning. Brings you to your bare parts and builds you back up in a new form, again and again, until you forget that you ever used to be anything else. But it’s so cold, at the same time.
Dick didn’t feel cold or hot or angry or insane. He – didn’t feel anything, despite the heaving cries that choked him even now.
or, Dick dies. He gets better, but the Pit always has a cost.

Summary
People are saying that when it rains, if you look into your television at midnight, you'll see your soulmate.
Steve Harrington is pretty sure that's just cootie-catcher nonsense. But something is definitely going on. Everyone is seeing the same people in the television—and the people they see keep turning up dead.

Summary
Steve had a bad feeling, and this wasn't the first time it had happened.
For as long as he could remember, he had always had hunches. Hunches about events that hadn't even happened yet but warned him before the shoe could drop. He was used to them. To the bad omens. To the anxiety they brought.
Maybe, that's why he was as tense as a coiled spring when they entered Hawkins Lab, as gray as decayed as the rest of the Upside Down. But not even a hunch could have prepared him for what happened that day. He couldn't have braced himself for the party splitting up. He couldn't have braced himself for an argument with Dustin, much less the boy's violent reaction at him bringing Eddie into the conversation.
He couldn't have expected to crack his head open into the ground, nor the world that waited for him when he opened his eyes once again. Neither the spider that bit him, or the powers that would later bring him.
And when this peculiar world welcomed him, he couldn't help but wonder.
Was that Munson? In a big sign? Wearing a hero-like costume?
And why on Earth was he blond?

Summary
It should be hilarious when Dick gets de-aged: another brown-haired baby to throw into the playpen, this one no doubt climbing everything in sight and cheerfully babbling nonstop. Only Jason isn’t staring at a cheerful toddler. He’s looking down at a tiny, badly bruised child, shaking in his little Nightwing suit, staring up at Jason with poorly concealed terror.
(The de-aging, and the aftermath, and Dick and Jason Going Through It.)

Summary
Medical reports filled the screen.
"Each victim had multiple emergency room visits between ages five and twelve," JJ said.
Reid’s eyes sharpened. "Pattern injuries."
"Broken bones," JJ confirmed. "Bruised ribs. Concussions. Repeated contusions."
Morgan’s expression hardened. "Abuse."
"Documented as accidents," JJ said. "Sports injuries. Rough play. Falls."
Garcia’s voice softened through the speakers. "Someone’s pulling archived pediatric records. These aren’t easy to access."
Reid spoke again, quieter. "He’s selecting adults who were abused as children. Only children. Isolating them. Sedating them."
"Trying to send them back," Prentiss said.
"Regression," Reid replied. "Environmental manipulation over weeks can induce childlike behavioral states under prolonged stress."

Or, someone is hunting former abused children, returning them to innocence before killing them—and Hotch fits the pattern.Bookmarked by mayday35
