Thorne flinches. “Well no offense to you, Kiffar, but this one—” He gestures at Obi-Wan. “Olen broke the rule, pointing a blaster at him, nevermind actually hitting him.”
“The rule?” Obi-Wan asks, flabbergasted. He looks at Quinlan, who is just as baffled.
“I certainly never pointed a blaster,” Thorne continues, loud, as if he’s hoping someone will overhear him.
“Now that you mention it, I am a little offended,” Quinlan says.

“Ben!”
Leia didn’t care why or how he was there, it didn’t matter to her that he was technically dead, she jumped to her feet and rushed towards him just as she did when she was ten years old. She fell into his arms and despite the fact that she could see through him, he was solid and held her tightly in return.
“I’m sorry, Leia…” his voice was a pained whisper into her long hair. “I should’ve come to you sooner.”

The physical disconnect that Obi-Wan had experienced on T’Kalv was fracturing, absorbed into the knowledge that the bones and muscles and organs that had allowed his survival were allowing him to survive this too.
He swam in the river every morning, easing through the remnants of his fear. Sometimes Qui-Gon joined him, the older man’s bare skin flushed and gleaming in the sunlight and Obi-Wan remembered his heart most of all.
