Grian hesitated, voice catching in his throat as they turned down the driveway of their house, a shadow falling across their faces as they went, “—I dunno. It just hit me, y’know. We really are lucky, aren’t we?”
Scar stilled on the first step up to their porch. Golden hour had cast their little corner of the world in a stark blend of warm illuminated patches and chilly shadows. Grian stood just at the edge of an unlit spot, Scar just at the edge of a lit one.
“Yeah,” he replied, reaching over and helping Grian over the threshold. “Yeah, we are.”

Summary
There had been a thievery within the ranks.
This wasn’t exactly a rare occurrence- as much as Wels trusted every one of the members of the rebellion, living in such close quarters was bound to result in items going missing. Most often, it was a simple mistake- someone grabbed the wrong toothbrush, a favored shirt tossed in the wrong hamper, two swords getting switched in the forge. The culprit was usually wholly unaware and more than willing to hand the missing item back. That wasn’t the case this time, though.
The item that had gone missing was a guitar.

Summary
As far as conscriptions went, this jaunt across time and space with the Heroes from ages past wasn't Warriors' worst experience. Good company, Goddess sanctioned monster slaying, and an escape from a life that seemed increasingly caustic with hindsight.
But when the chain come across Legend and Hyrule, strangers seemingly on the same mission as them, it becomes obvious something or someone else is sending the two of them across time. Worse, the unceasing pace is killing them.
And well, since when could a Link leave something like that alone?
