As she was about the hang up the phone, she heard heavy breathing that grew louder and louder with each passing second, causing her heart to beat faster, in sync with the increasing volume. A deep voice emerged from the heavy breaths, “You shouldn’t have let McLaggen touch you tonight. Sleep tight.”
