  3. Summary

This is a collection of Star Trek stories in which the antagonists are written in the style of Stephen King. The Star Trek characters and the universe itself are otherwise canonical.

Now you might be asking, “why Harold”? In the original script for Space Seed, the character we came to know as Khan Noonian-Singh was instead a Nordic man named “Harold Erickson.”

This fact, along with Stephen King’s prodigious oeuvre, inspired this alternate universe in which Kirk, Spock, Bones, and the rest of the Enterprise crew face off against shining vampires, a telepath named Harold, a traumatized telekinetic prom queen, and other unimaginable horrors.

The first story takes the place of the TOS episode Space Seed. The sequel includes The Wrath of Khan and The Search for Spock.

There was only one bed but they stayed up all night talking to each other, blow drying Spock’s hair, and kicking their feet excitedly like two little kids ❤️

After, the story jumps straight into the events of The Man Trap but with new context.

In the aftermath of the mission, McCoy, Spock, and Kirk navigate what this event has changed for them, and how to move forward.

Set during and after "The Paradise Syndrome".
