Kira has spent her entire adult life with the Autobots. By their side during the return of the Fallen, there for the defeat of Sentinel Prime, on the run from Lockdown and her human allies turned enemy. After Quintessa's defeat and the return to Cybertron, she just so happens to be in the wrong room at the wrong time. Waking up in a desert with Optimus by her side, she quickly realizes the Earth she now stands on is not the one she once walked. In another world, Daeron II would have spent the entirety of his father's reign meekly watching as his bastard brother was raised up to be his rival and then spend his own reign kowtowing to Dorne until it led him into a war with said brother. Being reborn as him of all people was not on my bingo card. I'm not content to just marry a Martell and wait around for Daemon Blackfyre to try and usurp me though. In fact, instead of fighting Daemon Blackfyre, why don't I just father him!?

Summary
This wasn't how things were supposed to go.
He was supposed to go to the past, give Goku the medicine for the heart virus, warn him about the artificial humans, and come back to a (hopefully) better present.
But now all he can do is try his best to actually get to the past while stuck on an alien planet with a damaged time machine and no idea on what he's supposed to do next.
...Be that as it may, Trunks has never been one to give up easily.
He'll complete his mission and save his world no matter what stands in his way.
