(This is an AU part of the Return of Skyquake episode in A Sparks Life That Shines)
Just when Optimus and Emily entered the ground bridge and it collapsed around them, they were both unknowingly thrust into a world similar yet different from their own.
Teaming up with their apparently enemies-turned-allies, both Optimus Prime and Emily have to work together with Megatronus Prime and his team to get back into their own dimension before the evil counterpart of Optimus Prime and his team of Autocons captures both her and Optimus.
Will they be able to return home or be forever stuck in this shattered glass world?

This takes place after Optimus jumped into the void in Unicron along with the Talesman; sacrificing himself to save Earth and the rest of the remaining survivors he and his team had saved from different planets, that unfortunately did not escaped from the wrath of the Chaos Bringer, Unicron. Making amends with the creator of Unicron, Optimus/Orion was able to put an end to the massive planet-eating god for the rest of the Cybertronian race along with others to peacefully reside on Earth, marking an end of his story. Or is it?

Rewrite of Fighting for Nothing.
An attack on Sam and Carly leaves Carly dead and Sam changed. No one quite understands it, but if Sam has learned one thing in his life, it is that the Allspark is almost always to blame for shitty things happening to him. Sam has to deal with the grief of losing not only his fiancée but also his humanity, as the Autobots suddenly find they are not quite as welcome on Earth as previously believed. Yet, the Earth still needs the Autobots, and they will come to find this out the hard way.
The Autobots just might not be ready to fight for Earth anymore. And Sam cannot blame them. Not now that he is one.

Summary
A terrified girl finds herself mixed up with three other children in a war that had somehow reached to them. Unlike the other children, she did not have a home to go back to. Scars like hers run too deep and she does not know what worth she could even give to the transformers who have now become her guardians to protect her from decepticons.
Her near constant presence in their base seems to be a bother to the transformers, she can tell even if they do not say it out loud to her. The girl is not a fool. However, when they realize just how deep her pain truly was and how far she is willing to end it, Optimus is unwilling to give up on her. She does not understand his reasons, they slowly become clear.
And when she finally runs in with Optimus's arch enemy, she finds herself eyeing off a certain decepticon leader in a way that she should not have. Megatron himself feels he simply had taken something so precious from Prime. But, the girl began to confuse his spark. So much so he questions so much about himself.
Much like the girl he had captured, she too questions her own feelings, loyalties and fears. Especially when she finds herself become the rope in a tug-o-war between the rival bots.
