Summary
There's a woods called Black, both for the colour of the trees that grow there, the family that once owned it, and the terrible crimes that are said to have taken place there.
There was a cult that killed an estimate of around fifty people over the span of twenty years, though there may have been more.
And now there's a true crime documentary about the cult on Netflix, and a boy named Colin Creevey has watched it and become intrigued, because Black Woods is just a fifteen minute drive from his house according to Google, and he's always had an interest in the dead.
Colin goes off to find ghosts, and in her parent's abandoned vacation cabin, Bellatrix Black waits to be found.

You can come in!" the tiny green eyed boy in the compartment says immediately after Tom opens the door. He's alone in there. He's still in muggle clothes, unlike Tom, who changed before coming. It's way easier to leave a good first impression on potentially useful people if you look like you belong.

Aaron feels like a rubber band at the best of times. What that means is that he goes from stretched and taut and too much to snapping at a moments notice, emotional impact made with whatever has caused his most recent panic. It's leftover stress from childhood needs permanently unaddressed. It's maladaptive, is what it is. Aaron is a rubber band, when he should have been water. He snaps and breaks instead of flows.
At his father's murder trial, Aaron doesn't leave a single thing out. He breaks down on the stand, nine years old and traumatized, while Martin watches and his father yells, and he cries and stutters over what it was like to hear his mother's neck snap as a room full of people watches on.

Summary
Essentially all of the HP fics who had a very specific song dedicated to them or to some part of them. By which I mean, music I listened to while I was writing. Most of them have the song listed in the tags, but some, like "It Takes All Kinds", don't, because in the case of that particular fic it's multichaptered and not all of the chapters had a song. I encourage you to maybe listen to the song whilst reading, if it's listed, but it's not necessary. Have fun!
