Summary
The Marauders have just finished their fifth year at Hogwarts. The Prank has happened, and completely torn the Marauders and their extended friend group to shreds.
Fast forward to September, and the new year hasn’t exactly brought the fresh start that everyone thought it would.Or, an exploration into how everyone adjusts to their fractured realationships, and how they eventually learn to move on.
*mostly Remus-centric but everyone else will have interludes or short povs*

Summary
Sirius Black is finally making something out of his new life, which until now has been unwanted, thrust upon him as his old life shattered around him. Despite how much he misses them, he had no desire to keep up any connections with people and places from the past more than is polite, in efforts of making things no more complicated than absolutely necessary.
Remus Lupin has never had good luck in life. There was one point where he was happy, doing well at university, with a stable, easy job, plenty of friends, and a boyfriend. Then a lot of that was taken away from him, almost overnight. Now, he’s almost reached something similar, as good as it can be with the scraps he’s left with. He has put his past almost completely behind him, and is determined to fix his life.
Unfortunately, all that goes out the window for both of them when their paths unexpectedly collide.

A little story for those of you who are antisocial on Christmas and would rather sit and read fanfics all day than participate in festivities. I love Christmas, but honestly I see you. Or for if you don’t actually celebrate Christmas but would still fancy a little seasonal oneshot
It’s just a cute little getting together story based off of the song Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses. I chose to do moonwater bc I’ve gotten into that recently despite HATING it before. I know it’s not for everyone, but I wrote it anyway. Hope you enjoy :)

So she did. She lived her life to the fullest, and then some. She died old and happy, fulfilled.
