Summary
"The beaming smile he got in return, was enough to light up his whole world. And so it all ended. In a bookshop, sometime, someplace that didn’t exist, never had and never will, an Angel and a Demon looked each other in the eyes and smiled as their world, too, faded into nothingness."
Crowley had died, in that bookshop, sometime and somewhere that didn't exist.Except, he didn't.
Instead, he got reborn into another world where Heaven and Hell didn't exist. Into the very world that he and Aziraphale had wished for. They were free now, free to live their lives together, how they wanted to. Just that there was a tiny issue. Crowley had no idea where his Angel was. Or if he even existed here at all. But he would be damned (again) if he let this chance of a free and happy life slip. So, Anthony Crowley set out to search for his Angel with nothing to his name other than grim determination and 6000 years of memories. He only hoped that Aziraphale would remember him as well.

Summary
Heaven’s latest efficiency upgrade is going about as well as one might expect from a bureaucracy that thinks free will is a design flaw.
Aziraphale is losing his memories, Crowley is losing his patience, and reality itself is having a minor existential crisis. And after the almost-Apocalypse, Heaven has developed a taste for editing.
Crowley, being no stranger to bureaucratic disasters, decides to break into Heaven’s operating system and demand his ineffable other half back. It does not go according to plan.

Herein lies my depiction of how the Second Coming is not going to go.
THIS STORY IS NOT FINISHED and probably never will be, but I'm really proud of the 41 chapters that exist, and chapter 19 has instructions on how to fold a fitted sheet (yes, really!), so I want it to see the light of day. At some point, I will at least post a SUMMARY of the intended ending.
~ ~ ~
Crowley clenched his teeth. Supreme Archangel Aziraphale was every bit as much of a prisoner as Principality Aziraphale had ever been. Possibly even more so. “Not going how you expected, then.”
“I have made changes, Crowley.”
“What, more tartan?”
“Non-superficial changes.”
“...What’s in the briefcase?”
“...Information,” Aziraphale answered. “You might find it useful.” He was barely even pretending to read his paper, just staring at it. Frowning. His entire body was stiff and tense.
“...Information, about what?”
“The Second Coming.”
