The first that James saw him it was a common and rather annoying day.
This year Dumbledore came to the conclusion that, as if the prefects of the seventh year did not have anything else to do, due to complications on last year students' first time on the train they would be on board of the express Hogwarts to keep things going smoothly with the running-nose kids.
His eyes were big, really big, with long and full eyelashes, his eyebrows full and thick, and even with the babyfat in her face, he noticed that he had a well defined cheekbone, his nose was quite marcante as well, all long angles and sharp shape too big for his small face, lips held that pink color that all kids had and it was forming a lovely pout at each passing second that he spent staring at her.
He looked away first, blushing.
Cute.
James is a pervert who thinks himself as completely normal, Severus is the object of his perversion.

Or the one where Shen Qingqiu discovers that Luo Binghe is an omega and reacts as anyone would in his place, which is to try to put a baby in him, of course, and make his damn body function as it should. It's all the system's fault, he's sure of it.

Severus could hear the music playing in the main hall, classical music suitable for waltzing and clearly wizard made, being unbearably boring as it was. He stopped at the door to the hall, still protected by the anonymity of his unseen presence in the shadows cast by the cream-coloured curtains. The servant turned his gaze in his direction, perhaps wondering why he was not accompanying him, at no point looking directly at him, subservient, moulded into submission by the hosts of this masquerade ball, this theatre that was high wizard society .

And James wanted to say no, he really wanted Okay? He wanted to tell Sirius that this their last year in Hogwarts, they were supposed to make an example for the younger ones, that's what he wanted to say, that's what he should say, that's what he was gonna say.
But this was the third week of the seventh year and Snape hasn't looked in his direction, not even once, with exception for that little fight they had in detention he had not a single glimpse of those black eyes in his direction, and James was only human, he needed Snape’ s dark ferocious eyes on his, he needed that terrible boy’s cruel words to be directed at him, and him only, and so he answered…
“He will go to the music tower two hours before dinner, we could talk to him alone then.” Sirius grin was nothing less than wolfish as James said that, and James knew he didn't look any better.
…like the edacious man he was.

“...Victor.” he declares then, gesturing towards himself with a breathless, delirious smile. “Victor…” he says one more time, smiling like a fool when he sees his creation mimic his movements, and then the smallest drop of hope lands like honey on his tongue when he hears his own name repeated in a halting, broken voice, confused like a child’s and filled with the same sort of wonder.
“Vic… tor…” his creation murmurs as he gestures to himself, and while Victor’s truly elated for that small show of basic intelligence, he also knows that it’s best not to create unnecessary confusion.
“Ah, no, it’s-” he tries once more with an awkward laugh, before gesturing to himself again. “Me, I am Victor.” he says patiently and with great care, observing how his creation blinks with puzzlement, before twisting his hands and placing them atop a smooth, cool chest. “And you…” he then adds with a lopsided, sardonic grin, because there’s truly only one oblivious choice to be made here. “Your name… is Adam.”
(The day when his creation comes to life, Victor remembers that he’s also his mother’s son.)

Best rewrite of the canon that I have ever read.
Characterization is spotless and the fluidity of the writing is breathtaking. I hope that the author will make another sequel, but it seems that this desire is vain, non the less the whole series are worth a re-read.
I have already read it at least four to five times, simply amazingly made. -
