Summary
Hello, my name is Dorothy Malto, veteran of the US Army, wife to my handsome marine biologist husband Alex, and a proud co-owner of the Malto Sea Sanctuary, newly reopened for visitors to see.
After leaving the army with honors, my husband Alex and I spent our life-savings to buy and renovate an old sea research facility into a sea sanctuary, to help the creatures of the depths to recover and for humans to learn about them. We house five sea lions, two leatherback turtles, a small family of sea otters and many schools of endangered fish, which we regularly release into the wild.
This month, we've decided to give a chance at a second life for three of one of the rarest creatures of the depths: mers. All of them are seniors currently being sold, and our wish is to be able to give them a worthy retirement after life spent entertaining humans, but we won't be able to do it without your support.
_____The Maltos decide to buy three mers, Elita one, Optimus prime and Megatron, to give them a new chance at life after decades of being a source of entertainment. Some take the change better than others

Summary
This is my first story I've written beyond school stuff! Yay!
This will either be a one shot or a collection of one shots (maybe a story if the one shots line up together) centered around Prowl, set in a pre-war or no-war AU where he's the son of a noblemech named Yoketron.
I imagine the characters in G1 style, and with more G1 concentrated personalities/values, besides from character(s) that originate from other Transformers media like Yoketron.
I do not own any of the Transformers media and I'm doing this purely for fun!

“I am Optimus Prime,” he said, bringing a servo to his chassis, “and this–” Before he could get any further through his introduction, the sparkling's optics shot wide open. His intake hung low in awe, his servos curling into his chassis in excitement.
“No way!” The tiny yellow bot gasped, all traces of fear completely erased from his field and faceplate. “You’re Optimus Prime? Like the leader of the Autobots?”
Optimus could not help the tiny laugh he let free. “Indeed, young one, the very same. In fact, this happens to be the second floor of my biggest ship.”
The yellow bot practically vibrated with excitement. “That's so cool!”
Something bitter twisted through Ratchet’s plating, watching the sparkling interact with his mate, seeing his tiny optics light up and his field glow with awe. Oh, how desperately he wished he'd stepped forward, spoken first, been faster, known better. Ratchet's systems boiled with misplaced irritation at the thought. Hadn't it always been him?
