    This started as a reaction to the final episode (specifically Storm's End) but then it took on a life of its own. All because a certain Legolas-lookalike has me in an absolute chokehold.

    There's already fics with reader being Rhaenyra's child, but here's my take on it. First couple of chapters are Aemond and reader as kiddies, but bear with me, hot Aemond makes an appearance ASAP.

    While the Driftmark incident ruptured your friendship with Aemond, you find yourself facing him again at the petition for Luke's inheritance. And as war looms in the wake of Viserys' death, you are determined to prevent it in any way possible - possibly needing the help of a certain one-eyed prince to do so.

    A/N:
    I altered the time jumps to age the characters up a bit because, I don’t like the idea of writing about minors doing nasty shit like war and smut. The 10-year time jump in HOTD is 13 years in this series, and the 6-year time jump is now 8 years. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
