2. MANCE RAYDER: There is perhaps no more enigmatic artist alive than Mance Rayder. Born into pre-independence INFF and raised in the Westerosi Far North, Rayder spent his early career writing and performing alongside Free Folk music legends at protests such as the Winterfell Encampment of 1960. While Rayder's debut album "Mance Rayder Is On The Wall" was met with massive popularity, it wasn't until his collaborations with jazz pianist Qhorin Halfhand that his music breached the mainstream. Albums such as "An Outsider's In" (1964) and "Purse Of Sand" (1969) achieved massive success and are attributed with the creation of jazz folk.Following Rayder's 1973 return to solo pursuits, he continued to imbue the variety of genres he dabbled in with the spirit, wit, and poeticism for which he first gained notoriety. Despite his retirement at the age of 81, Rayder's influence on music, poetry, and popular culture are immeasurable. His songwriting, with its uncanny ability to transport listeners into the worlds he wove, remains the golden standard against which all other music is judged.

Summary
Tributes, victors, mentors, people who love them. Their lives, their deaths; who remembers, who doesn't.
Character exploration, missing scenes and backstory for canon and original characters: how the District 2 Career Centre makes its tributes, how they win their Games and how their mentors put them back together. How some rebel, some don't and some never get the chance.
We grew up in golden light
Every chance to get it right
What did we do with it?It’s gone, what I had back then is gone
Can’t get it back againSorry for the things we should have done
Sorry for the kids we pushed too far
Sorry now for all the lonely hearts who can’t move on becauseWe waited
For love, for dreams in the night
For days to come when we’d be all right
I can’t remember why I did the things I did
I was just a kidAll the lines we knew back then, they now are faded
All the laws we once obeyed, they have betrayed us
People that I used to hate, I hardly remember
Forgive the children we once were
